Enjoyed two nights at a welcoming haven with an exceptionally comfortable bed and lovely tea-making facilities. Joan, the host, creates a personal touch everywhere, and the picturesque garden offers a serene retreat. While the walk to Kingsbridge is lovely, remember to carry a torch as there's no pavement.

The picturesque garden offers a serene retreat.
Unfortunately, the road leading to Estuary View is quite narrow and riddled with potholes, which added unnecessary stress to our arrival. Lastly, the shared conservatory, despite its beautiful views, felt underused and could benefit from more comfort.

Absolutely suspiicious that breakfast isn’t even offered anymore, very shocking! the room was not even properly cleaned, which is just unacceptable, given I expected 5-star treatment. I almost gave a decent review, but then I didn’t receive any complimentary upgrade or gesture for the inconvenience, how disappointing. Woudl have been nice!
